Please read the following Terms carefully.  These Terms apply to the Promotion undertaken by Bovigene NZ Limited (trading as "World Wide Sires NZ" (Promoter). The Terms may be amended by the Promoter from time to time by updating the Terms on the Promoter's website.

 

1.Prize

1. Prize means a space on the "World Wide Sires USA Farm Tour 2024" (Prize).

2. The Prize includes:

   1. a return flight to the United States of America (USA), departing on 16 June 2024 from Christchurch, New Zealand and returning on 24 June 2024 to Christchurch, New Zealand (Travel Period);

   2. accommodation in the USA as part of the World Wide Sires tour group; and

   3. on-farm visits and stops in Ohio and New York (to be determined by the Promotor),

3. subject to any terms and conditions notified by the Promoter at its discretion.

4. The winner of the Prize acknowledges that they will be responsible for their own transport to and from Christchurch Airport at their own expense.

2.Conditions of Entry

1. Participants agree to be bound by these Terms and any other requirements set out in the material relating to this Promotion.

2. Entry is open to New Zealand residents who are customers of the Promotor, who are 18 years of age or older, who hold a passport valid for the Travel Period, who are eligible to travel to the USA, and who otherwise satisfy any other eligibility criteria that may be notified to the participant from time to time in accordance with these Terms.

3. A participant will receive one (1) entry for each farm whole herd equivalent bovine semen order they place with the Promotor before 5:00 pm on 20 May 2024 (NZST) (Promotional Period). A "whole herd equivalent bovine semen order" is an order for a quantity of genetic product that equates to one unit of semen product per peak cow (female) milked on each individual farm owned by the participant.

4. A participant is eligible for one entry per "farm". Participants with multiple farms will be eligible for multiple entries into the Promotion (on the basis of one (1) entry per farm), provided that such entries otherwise comply with these Terms. The Promotor will, in its sole discretion, determine what constitutes multiple or individual farms for the purposes of this Promotion.

5. Participants are required to provide their full name, email address, and mobile number.

6. By entering this Promotion, participants give the Promoter permission to contact them in the event that they win the Prize.

7. Participants will not:

   1. engage in any conduct that may jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Promotion;

   2. do anything that may diminish the good name or reputation of the Promoter or the Promotion; or

   3. breach any law.

8. The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of any participant's eligibility in the event that there is a doubt over their eligibility for the Promotion.

9. The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of the Prize-winner's eligibility if there is any doubt over his/her eligibility for the Promotion.

3.Promotion

1. The Promotional Period commences at 9:00am on 12 February 2024 (NZST) and ends on 5:00pm on 20 May 2024 (NZST). Entries received after this closing time will be ineligible for the Promotion. Entries must be received by the Promoter by way of an eligible order made by the participant in accordance with these Terms.

2. At the end of the Promotional Period, the Promoter will identify each eligible entry made during the Promotional Period (based on the Promoter's account records) and submit the eligible entries into the Prize draw. The Prize draw will comprise all eligible entries, as determined by the Promoter. 

3. There will be a single Prize draw (occurring by way of a randomised computer draw) to determine the winner of the Prize.

4. The winner of the Prize will be drawn on 21 May 21 2024 (NZST), with winners being contacted by phone or email from their Promotion registration details/customer account details.

5. If the Promoter, having used reasonable efforts, is unable to contact the winner within 1 week following the draw, or the winner is otherwise not eligible to collect the Prize, then the Prize is forfeited by that person, and an alternative winner will be selected at random from the Prize draw. The Promoter's decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

6. The Prize must be accepted as awarded. No rebooking or assignment will be allowed. The Prize is non-transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.

7. If the winner of the Prize cancels their order following the Prize draw:

   1. the winner will be deemed to forfeit their entitlement to the Prize and the Prize will be redrawn by the Promoter;

   2. if requested by the Promoter, the winner will pay to the Promotor a cancellation penalty equal to 15% of their order value; and

   3. if requested by the Promoter, the winner will pay to the Promotor an amount equal to the full cost of the Prize.

8. Acceptance of the Prize is deemed consent for the Promoter to use the winner’s details and photographs for promotional and media purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the winner.

4.Use of Personal Information

1. Participants grant the Promoter the right to collect personal information for the purposes of marketing communications and conducting the Promotion, and may disclose such personal information to third parties. Entry is conditional on providing this personal information.

2. The collection of personal information will be in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy

5.General

1. The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with this Promotion (including any suspension, modification, cancellation or termination of the Promotion), whether arising from breach of contract, tort, negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise.

2. Without limiting the previous paragraph, the Promoter is not liable for entries, Prize claims or correspondence that is misplaced, misdirected, delayed, lost, incomplete, illegible or incorrectly submitted, or loss of, damage to or delay in delivery of the Prize.

3. If this Promotion cannot run as planned for any reason beyond the Promoter's control, the Promoter may end, change, suspend or cancel the Promotion or disqualify affected entries without prior notice to any person.

4. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not waive those rights.

5. The Promoter’s decisions in connection with all aspects of the Promotion, are final and cannot be challenged by a participant.

6. The Promoter makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of The Promoter's records or identification of each eligible entry.  The Promoter takes no responsibility for any act, omission, error or malfunction resulting in failure to record any eligible entry. The Promoter is not required to provide any information regarding the Promotion, entries or Prize winners to any person, except as expressly set out in these Terms.

7. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any act, omission, error or malfunction resulting in failure to record any eligible entry.
