Dairy genetic services remain, despite COVID-19

Like most agricultural service organisations, World Wide Sires is reassuring farmers around the world that its services remain, despite the outbreak of COVID-19.

Providing a Kiwi perspective, Craig Robertson, World Wide Sires' Manager of Sales and Marketing, said the business of farming continues, in spike of the outbreak of COVID-19.

"Support organisations have been quick to reassure farmers that the services they need to maintain and grow their businesses, are available. We have discontinued farm visits but it's easy for farmer to order their dairy genetics.

"Enquiries and orders can be placed via telephone, text or email with their local Breeding Consultant who is working from home while the country is under the Level 4 alert.

"One exception is the delivery of product, which will be conducted by arrangement with the farmer and within the regulations specified by Level 4."

Craig Robertson said World Wide Sires "is doing all we can to support Kiwi farmers during a time which reminds us all of the resilience and importance of a strong farming sector."
